Use of paper for artwork is like dreaming when nesting between crisp, clean sheets. While mind travels the meanders of undiscovered paths, the body is sheltered comfortably in the safety of the paper sheet. There is no medium more generous for the creating hand than the plain, pure, old, paper.
I am a multidisciplinary artist. I started my carrier by practicing printmaking almost exclusively. I have a master in sculpture, but my medium now is painting. I have alternatively approached any subject matter, regardless of the medium employed, by using the tools and practices of printmaking. That allowed for more in-depth dissection and understanding of the final message of the artwork; it expanded the expressive content and many times offered the technical solution necessary to finish a sculpture or a painting.
